I did not like the fact there were no instructions for this product. Just pictures so I need the mat but nothing saying how to work it or how it works

The idea of the package is great. You have the mat to practice ball control and creates a visual diagram you can follow. The waste band connected to the elastic band connected to the strap that holds the ball is also a great concept. It does what its supposed to do which returns the ball to you when you kick it a distance away. The only issue I have is the price point. The materials of the product feels cheap.

This helps with soccer footskills and helps my son practice controlling the ball. I do love the soccer ball attachment so he isn't constantly chasing the ball when he loses it.

I bought this for my son to practice his agility and ball control. The mat itself is not too thick that it feels bulky, but not too thin that it feels too flimsy. As another reviewer stated, the lines on the mat from when it was folded up for shipping still have not gone away, despite having it for over a week at this point. If the mat was a little thicker, I don't think this would be the case, but hard to say for sure. I'm hoping it'll just naturally flatten out with time and use.I'm a little apprehensive to say that the overall function of this training mat is super helpful for agility training, but I'll give it a chance to continue to test and see the progress. Both my son and my daughter tried it and they don't really want to use it. I can't say I blame them because after trying it myself I questioned what it was truly offering, but this is just my anecdotal opinion.My biggest gripe is the ball training belt. The instructions are very bare-bones and although it shows that the harness connects to the belt, it doesn't indicate how/where the elastic string connects to the harness around the ball. Either my set is missing a connection piece or I'm just not bright enough to figure this out. Either way, there's no instruction or clear way to connect these parts so I ultimately used a twist tie to connect them; not ideal, but it seems to work fine, so I deducted some points for this.

This mat is a good tool for working on control. I can see how just a few minutes per day could make a very big difference in skill. It is padded nicely, and seems durable. The ball belt is easy to set up and can be done in just a minute or two. Great training tool all around.

This is a nice set of two training aides that is great for anyone who likes soccer. The mat is good for footwork but is sized for teenagers or up. I put an eight year old on it and he had a little trouble reaching the corners, but quickly decided to just go halfway in each direction and still likes using it for practice. The belt/ball connector is terrific and adjustable. It attaches to the ball with a pair of what are basically big velcro Xs that connect to each other. We've used it on various size toy balls as well as on soccer balls, with kids of several age ranges.It seems pricey for just two things but, because my kids really enjoy it and use both pieces a lot, I feel like the value is actually pretty good. The quality is also very good as it's all held up to heavy use without any issues at all.
