This portable home plate mat is huge! It is perfect for practice or game use. The material is thick and spongy and has held up to heavy use so far. We use this for batting practice and it is perfect and can handle cleats and dirt just fine. The white design stands out clearly from the red base and it is heavy duty. The back of the mat is rubbery so that helps it stay in place. It is big and thick so if you were going to transport it frequently you will need some sort of strap to make it easier to move. Overall, this mat is excellent quality and has been perfect for our needs, definitely a good investment for any baseball or softball player or program. Well worth the price.

This is one heavy mat. Came in a big box so folded and not rolled up like some others. Very heavy duty and thick.Back is foam so not slippery. Good for either baseball or softball. Can be used just as a big mat anywhere. Great quality at a good price with a coupon now. Good deal.
