I got these when saw a limited time deal - which puts them in the "worth it for the price" type review. They're a smidge smaller in dimensions than I expected - but not necessarily a negative. They are a bit more light weight too - again, not necessarily a negative. However, the brightness intensity is just what I'll call functional. I thought/hoped it would be a more intense brightness as many LED's can be. Again, however, not necessarily a negative.I did feel that the remote "ON" was not quite as described. I installed per their spec, height, angle from ground - and while I did not measure it exactly "felt" it turned on a bit late/close and should have turned on sooner and per the angles they specify. However, if amount of charging effects it? (that may be a stretch?) - they may interact differently if up a week or so with a few 5-full-sun days. I won't count on it, but, we'll see. Functional as is.I've purchased this "overall brand" which previously had more features, like setting distance to activate and length of time to remain on. However, again - it's functional and not unusual in that regard.I was actually able to just plug the Solar Panel that was there from the prior unit (8 years old - went bad about a year or so ago, so lasted, lets say apx 6 years. I may try to change the batteries to see if the problem and if can find ones that fit and not "expensive" - repair it). I was impressed with those units and hope for 8 + years from these too (?) - we may see.Simply though - I got what I thought it was - at a minimum. I'm not "impressed" but not unhappy either.Only time will tell if they last. I feel, from experience that, if last i.e. two years, may last for a period that makes them a good value. I don't like having to replace stuff like this, and that requires a ladder. I'd expect 10 years minimum from a device like this these days since a solar panel has a 10+ year life expectancy, lithium ion (LifePO4?) batteries and LEDs. The other "old unit" of this seller/brand is 8 years old and working fine. That unit, same price as this is presently, and less w/coupon - is "substantial" in make quality and heft of material. However, the build quality in this could mean, it lasts as I hope.Actually this unit, how it mounts - was the easiest I've ever installed. And 12V jacks are standard, so kept the old one and just plugged it in.Actually the one I simply used the old, what I call J-hooks and rehung it, so no screws. The was that spot is, I easily hung that way and it tucked in under a window awning (back of an old outbuilding - so is fine as-is with that). On your house, garage, just use the snap in holders - two easy screws then slid in.I can recommend them and would buy more if needed. So, again, if they last - not stop working in a year ? then these are "it" as far as I am concerned at the price point.

Hard to beat this pair of lights, especially for the price. They are ‘light’ lights…which really fit my needs well because they are super easy to mount and having a wired solar panel for optimal charging is necessary. Both units work as stated, really just a plug and play and as simple as it gets with this type lights. I’ve had other models with all kinds of settings and the problem with them has been with either the photo sensor or the motion sensor - so to me the simpler the better and these lights are exactly that. You get two lights for the price of what most cost individually. What’s nice about that is that you can choose to set the lights on two sides of any structure for a more comfortable lighting area. These are smaller than the heavier and larger solar flares that are on the market, which I also prefer. They are more discreet and put out enough light for ease of movement without looking like you activated a criminal interrogation. If you need the solar flare variety for security reasons then you probably want to keep looking. But if you’re looking for residential use, affordability and simple functionality then these are great.

I love these so much that I have sent them to two different people to install on their houses.Having the charging pad separate from the lights is GENIUS. This enables the lights to be installed in odd places as needed. At my rental property, I have them mounted in trees to illuminate the parking area. But under a tree wouldn’t enable enough sunlight to reach them and recharge them. These wonderful things solved that issue by connecting the charging pad to the lights with a really long cord, enabling me to place the pad in a completely different part of the tree that can receive enough sunlight during the day.Thank you for making my security solution so easy! Now my parking area lights up like the sun every time someone enters the area. I installed 3 units in different locations, and the sense of improved security in that urban location is tangible. They are seriously bright.Studies and statistics clearly indicate that a well-lit building or parking area is less likely to be targeted in property crimes, and a bonus is that everyone is safer when walking to and from their vehicles in a well-lit area. It’s the cheapest and lowest-maintenance form of security available, and it WORKS.

I didn’t expect much out of these considering the price. These have lasted 9 months and don’t seem to be giving up!I love how the light heads are multidirectional and the solar panel has a huge cord length! The only con you might consider is how sensitive the motion sensor can get. It’s sensitive to rain, moving tree limbs, small animals, and larger bugs. During storms in Texas the lights lose power from lack of sun and tons of motion detection. Still more pros than cons!

I ordered these almost a year ago and recently the lights wouldn't turn on. I contacted their customer support through their website and within an hour they had already responded to me about sending a replacement. I received my replacement in less than 2 days. The lights are great! Easy to install and when they were working they were bright and worked very well. I highly recommend these lights not only for performance, but for their amazing customer support!

Didn't have any electricity in my shed and I wanted to see things inside after dark. Since my shed got sun on it all day long, I put the solar panel in one of the 2 small widows I have on it and it does the job pretty well so far. Good ligthning, detect movements well and close after around 20-30 seconds without movements. It doesn't light up in daytime as it detect lots of ligths. Sensor work well, easy to install (all included including screws) and a good range of cable to connect the pannel with the machine. Very impressed and happy!!!

Firstly I would like to get my only criticism out of the way. There is nowhere on the description to say how many hours life time these lights have so only time will tell when they will stop working. If the seller included this info then it would help potential buyers with their decision to buy the light or not.Otherwise wow these lights are bright and come with some charge out of the box as works straight away. I bought the LE version of these lights also where the only difference I could see was they have the solar panel attached to it whereas these have the option to install the solar panel at a better position/angle if needed away from the light to get the best possible sunlight on it throughout the day. As you can see from my pic it brightens up my dark alleyway nicely on a night and is much brighter than my previous Mr Beams one I had which was 300 lumens and took 4 batteries. Even though I was using rechargeable batteries on my previous light it just wouldn't last for long before it needed charging again and was a headache getting up and down the ladder to swap the batteries. This is perfect with the solar panel so no more swapping batteries which was one of the main reasons I bought these lights. Out of the box the lights came with some charge and I have had some decent sunlight throughout the day for the past week so only time will tell to see how to performs with the brightness level throughout the long winter nights. The lights seems to be well made and does not look cheap in quality. In total I have purchased 4 and they all bright up different areas in my garden really well where it's needed the most. No one would think that these are solar powered and not mains operated with the amount of brightness it produces at 1200 lumens. Definitely much brighter than my Mr Beams 300 lumens lights I had before. I definitely like the idea of 3 lights with each of them capable of adjusting the angle and height so it definitely widens the viewing area which is very useful. These lights are highly recommended if anyone are thinking about getting one if they don't want to install mains operated ones like me with the ability to self charge with the solar is a great idea. Only time will tell to see how long it lasts. If it lasts me a few years I will be satisfied as I have no idea what the lifespan is of these led lights since there is no info on it on the description.
