I didn't give 5 stars because the butterflies don't seem to want to stay on their stems. Its no big deal to pick them up and put them back on, but I think they should stay put.

Wow, these butterfly lights are absolutely delightful! I purchased them as a gift for my neighbor, who adores butterflies and is always working in her garden, and they exceeded my expectations. Straight out of the box, they were already charged and shining brightly through the night. The flexibility of both the leaves and butterflies allowed us to customize their placement perfectly. We're planning to nestle them among her flowers, but they look just as adorable in a pot as well. The gradual color shifting is mesmerizing, and the attention to detail, like the lights on the butterfly wings, is charming beyond words!Assembly was a breeze - simply flip the switch to ON and let them charge. The quality is top-notch, and the ability to bend the stems to create unique designs is a fantastic feature. While some may have concerns about the aesthetic, I found the tight fit of the components reassuring, ensuring they stay securely in place. The weather-resistant design, with a rubber cover and durable materials, promises longevity, withstanding the elements for seasons to come.Although some may find the individual LEDs inside each stem unusual, I appreciate how they illuminate the surrounding foliage. While they may not look entirely natural up close, they create a magical ambiance at night, sparking curiosity from neighbors. And while I anticipate some fading and wear over time, they will still add a lovely touch to the garden, especially when nestled among real flowers.Overall, these butterfly solar lights are a fantastic addition to any outdoor space. While the pricing may be slightly higher than expected, their quality and charm make them well worth the investment. Despite some initial confusion over the packaging, the joy they bring far outweighs any minor grievances. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to add a touch of whimsy and beauty to their garden oasis.

At the end of last summer most of my decorative solar lights were beat (after 5 years) so I tossed them and am now restocking my solar lights. These lights came nicely packaged and set up is a breeze. Lit up before even putting them out in the sunlight to charge. Easy to bend the branches with the 4 butterflies (each one). Looking forward to seeing them tonight.

I have a number of solar lights in my garden areas..https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B094MJBBRS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B094NCTNSJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1.They are very similar in construction to these butterfly lights, probably from the same manufacturer, and are starting to look a little old, though they actually still work after 3 seasons of use, and after being left outside all this winter in NWPA, rather than stored indoors!.I ordered these new lights to replace/add to those I have. The materials, quality, and build are exactly the same. The solar panel has a weather-resisting rubber cover over the switch on the underside, which slides from OFF to ON beneath this cover. As supplied, there’s a protective film over the panel, which you remove. The support stem is in two parts and the lower tubular part just pushes into the upper. It’s a nice tight fit. The plastic point, to aid pushing the tube into the ground, is a nice tight fit, maybe even molded to the stainless-steel tube. My other lights had a fairly loose-fitting, push-on point, which can get left in the ground when pulled up. These are not going to do that. The green stems, which are actually just supports for the butterflies, though look like flower stems, and the leaves, they all have internal wires for support and can be spread out and bent to whatever shape you prefer. They are pressed together for shipping. The stems also carry electrical wires to light up the butterflies. There are LED’s inside the stems and one at the very top. The butterflies themselves are simply a push-fit into the top of the stem. That top LED lights up the many tiny lights around the butterfly via fiber optic cables built into the butterfly. You can see the many tiny cables at the base of each butterfly wing. Those wings are made up of sections heat-pressed together. The product photos show the wings opened up. Mine are pointed up and almost closed. These are not wired and cannot be spread without potentially breaking the hinge point. 1-Star lost for the poor aesthetic ☹.The lighting of the butterflies themselves is very attractive. In the height of summer, they will illuminate for several hours. They cycle through a series of colors. However, I find the five individual LED’s inside each stem both odd-looking and unattractive. They do help to illuminate the fern-like leaves but they really don’t look natural at night. I’m not a fan. I’ve had neighbors ask me how I illuminated my individual flowers at night. I had to admit they were not real and actually solar lights! These butterfly solar lights obviously look fake in that regard..As for durability, I anticipate these lasting at least 3 seasons, like my others. I include a couple photos of those for reference. I haven’t cleaned any of them, ever. Over time, the sun will fade the color in the green stems. The fern leaves will likely go brittle and chip off. Up close they will look tired but from a distance they still look OK, especially at night. I will locate these amongst my real flowers..CONCLUSION:.These are what I expected in terms of build. I anticipate these will ultimately achieve around 76% 5-Star ratings and 4% 1-Star ratings like the other solar lights I bought. The pricing seems comparable, though I personally think they should be in the lower $20’s. $15 each is a little much IMHO. In fact, when I first read the description and saw the product photos, I thought I was getting two packs of 7 solar lights; “… 7 Color Changing Butterfly Solar Lights for Outside Yard Pathway Garden Decor, Gift for Mother, 2 Pack” but I just got two! Another Star lost for some misleading marketing! ☹If you want some attractive solar lights, these are worth considering, but I doubt you’ll go so far as to mimic the product photos. That would be very expensive.
