OK, this is a nice little gun for small projects, but if you want something that is going to be for all-day use, I'm sure there is a more suitable alternative. The only real issue I have is that there's no good way to control the speed of the solder output. It's find of slow. The other issue us that it's not going to work very well on larger diameter solder. I bought this thing to do some Stained Glass repair, and it's going to work for that task, but It's going to take me twice as long as I had hoped it would take. This is probably best suited for electronics.

I set this up with a solder spool but haven't had a chance to work with it for any amount of time. It's comfortable in the hand and should be fun to work with. Many projects to work on, so hope to update soon.

Even with my shaky hands I can use this. I admit my welds are not pretty, but this sodering gun allows me to comfortably work or repair my electronics with broken soder.
