This is a really nice goblet. It's nice and heavy real brass. It has excellent details. It comes in a very nice storage or display box. This would make a nice gift. I'm very pleased with it and I find it to be a good value for what you get.

I ordered this NARRY CRAFT Brass Wine Goblet Decorative Wine Glass Vintage Chalice Goblet Medieval Royal Embossed goblet for my teenage son.My son loves history, he loves costumes, he loves music and art. He has been collecting goblets for a while now, he displays them in his room. When I saw this one, I thought he might like to add it to his collection. He loves it, and he really liked the blue velvet carrying case it came in.I can’t remember how the collection started, I think it was a combination of him loving the Holy Grail and wanting a hefty goblet to drink “Viking style”. He’s got some really nice goblet now, and this one is definitely one of his favorites.This goblet is made of brass, it is a golden color. It doesn’t have that “brassy” yellow color, it’s more gold toned. It is 6” tall, and the cup is about 3” wide at the top.The embossed design on the cup is intricate and attractive. The cup at the top is heavily embossed, there is a large shield design and the background includes floral designs. There is a thick, plain band of gold at the top, then a band of the design, then a thinner gold band, then the rest of the cup is covered with the engraved designs.The stem of the cup has two half-rounds and one full round decorated with more embossed designs. The foot of the goblet is round, it is the plain gold metal with a wide decorative band.This is fancy enough for a wedding toast, but it’s not flowery in design. Yes, there are floral motifs in the intricate traceries, but there are also shields and banners and circles and many other design elements. In other words, it’s not “girly”, while it would be lovely in a wedding, it also would be great for RenFest or cosplay, any time guys would like to heft a goblet full of mead (or wine, or hey, even Mountain Dew) with their boon companions.This has a nice weight to it, but it’s not overly heavy. It’s attractive enough to display on a bar, or, like my son does, in a collection of goblets.The design work is lovely, the embossed motifs add a lot to the overall presentation. This is attractive enough that it could be used as a chalice in church, it’s inexpensive enough that you don’t worry about using it every day, if you’re in the mood for a goblet. At the current price ($39.91) you get a lot for the price point. I’ve seen goblets of this caliber sold at RenFests for much more money.This also comes with its own molded box for travel, storage, and display. The box is a blue velvet, it has a bright brass clasp on the front.If, like my son (and husband) you’ve always felt you were born in the wrong century, that you’d be happier with a sword and a cape, drinking from a golden goblet instead of a Stanley cup, this is the cup for you. It has a classic, old school feel that could work for the medieval period, the Renaissance, even the Victorian/Edwardian era. It isn’t period correct for any decade or century but it has a nice old-fashioned feel.If, like my son and husband, you occasionally find yourself partaking of Second Breakfast, this is excellent for your orange juice. Or whatever you prefer quaffing with Second Breakfast.My son claims everything tastes better if drunk from a goblet. I’ll admit it, I’ve tried a few of his goblets, and it’s true. Somehow putting your drink into a beautiful container elevates the whole thing. Life is short, why not drink from a goblet if you can? This is a lovely one.
