I’m not the most discerning but they still hit with spin and felt soft enough for me

This string is probably one of the softest polys I’ve ever played with. As someone who has had arm problems in the past, I can say that I haven’t had any issues with Hyper-G in general, but especially with the Soft at higher tensions. This is currently my favorite string (just over Confidential). With that said, I would recommend bumping up the tension a bit to get a little more control.

As you may have gathered from my headline…I think this string is as good as any polyester that I’ve played with…the way I use it.I have a Babolat Pure Aero and string Hyper G 17 soft in the mains at 51 lbs, and Dunlop S-gut 17 in the crosses at 56 lbs. and love the way my racquet plays. But we all have our own preferences and this is mine.S-gut is cheap…and by itself…loses control rather quickly, moving and requiring repositioning after each rally. However, when I paired it with Hyper G soft, that doesn’t happen. I think the S-gut softens the string bed and lessens the effect of the Hyper G’s stiffness. And, you can string your racquet for around and $8.I’ve played tennis for decades and used all sorts of strings and combinations of strings. I can honestly say that Hyper G Soft 17 in the mains and Dunlop’s S-gut 17 in the crosses is one of my favorite setups.NOTE: I have had tennis elbow in the past…so I’m sensitive to string tensions and how they play. The above setup hasn’t caused any elbow issues. Just thought I’d let you know.Good luck finding the right string setup for your racquet.
