This Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo memory card works great for my DSCH7 camera. Sony recommends that you specifically purchase their products, which can be expensive and a hassle. However, I quickly realized that I would need more GBs to outlast my eventful day. I ran out of memory on an outing to the botanic garden and museum. I had to use my phone to capture the rest of the footage. Not cool! However, I purchased a non-Sony brand memory card with more GB memory and the camera has no problems writing/ using it. I'm now using a Lexar memory stick pro duo and all is well!Oh and I purchased this memory card over 4yrs ago and it still works well whenever I need it.

I've just received this memory stick for my seven-years old Sony F717. It needs to be connected with a sony adopter card in order to work in F717. I'm very happy it brought some new life for my old camera :) I decided to order another one so I can save more pictures during a travel.

This product is exactly what I wanted, thank you. It's the right size and the advice I recieve was excellant. It was in excellant condition when I got it and I've had no problems with it at all. It's very easy to use. If this product wasn't avaible my camera would have been useless.

It is one of several I use in Sony Products. It always works well and over the last several years I have experienced no problems with it. 3rd party memory sticks like San Disk also work well. The vendor was very quick to process and mail it out, and the price was "not bad." When I need Sony Pro Duo memory I go with whowver is less expensive that day--Sony or San Disk. I use it in my Sony Laptop, and several Sony cameras, as does my spouse.Milrose

There's really not much to say about a memory stick. It does the job of storing data. I use mine for photos and videos. The disadvantage of the Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo is that it's pretty expensive compared to other storage devices. And it's pretty small and requires an adaptor. When you purchase a new stick, it comes with an adaptor but it's so small that I lost the adaptor from my camera case and had to buy it separately from Sony for $10. My advice is to leave the adaptor at home since you use only to transfer data to your home computer. If you're using a laptop, then just store it in a secure place.

I looked at Staples, Best Buy, and Office Depot for this item, then online. Online was by FAR much cheaper - by over ½ the price as in the stores. This item wasn't the cheapest when reviewing the prices, until you added in the shipping charges. My camera is a Sony, but I was not necessarily looking for a Sony card, but it was one of the best purchases I made. Originally we had a memory card that held 10 pictures, now, it holds well over 500 pictures. I am also glad we waited to purchase the memory stick because the price came down tremendously from when they originally came out. I would recommend this product for the price, and the quality.

There's not much that can be said about a memory card. It works or it doesn't. This one works, so, pretty much that's that.It comes packaged with a Memory Stick adapter for devices that require the older, long-and-narrow format. But definitely check with the manufacturer of the unit you're planning to use it with to ensure that the Memory Stick PRO Duo is the device you need.I'm using this with the Sony DSC-T100 CyberShot camera. As a point of calibration for other users, this 2GB Memory Stick show up as storing 619 images at 8.1 megapixels per shot. That should handle all casual use and even a big, long vacation.
