FDAEP17 for a6500:The original was a little loose, I don't know why. I lost it (after 5 years) while I was out taking pictures. This replaces it and fits better, tighter. So, good.

It is the exact same one that came with the a6400, if you wear glasses, lousy! If not, it works well, keeps some light out , if you wear glasses like I do, at least it keeps your glasses from being scratched.

The edge near the eye is rubbery, but it’s still a hard, tough rubber. It’s moderately softer than the JJC brand, though. I am very satisfied with it. If I had any suggestion for improvement, it might be nice to have softer rubber, but it’s pretty good for such a low-profile eyepiece.
