Very sturdy and strong yet soft so that it doesn't scratch anything. Perfect size for washing dishes & cups.

Great brush for standard washing. Not good for scrubbing, but safe for glass and non-stick surfaces.Fits easily into my insulated travel mug and stainless water bottle (with a 1 inch opening.)Pros: Textured bristles hold soap well. Ideal size.Cons: Not ergonomic in any way and the white handle absorbs stains easily. Looks like a toilet brush.

This .. is .. SPARTA!! Perfect, institutional-level bottle brush. Good for many things, but melted cheese is not one of the good things. I gave this one as a gift to my roommate as a housewarming gift (she just married) since she commented on how mine looked like a toilet brush. Top shelf in the dishwasher on occasion will keep it looking fresh.

I have purchased many of these over a period of 30+ years. Usually i purchase them at United Grocers where they were $10, but the last one was quite awhile ago, so that price has probably increased there as well. This one came all smushed up, like bed-head. Hopefully it will shape up after some use. After using just a bit it seems the bristles stay smushed...either that or the bristles are just shorter on one side than the other. Also the bristles don't seem as stiff even compared to the ones I have used for 2-3 years that i keep around for dirty chores like cleaning out flower pots at the end of the garden season, etc

I don't know how my Mom didn't have a brush like this when washing dishes. This is the second time I bought a "sink brush" (because it is far more useful than just a "bottle brush") -- I like the first one I purchased better: Bürstenhaus Redecker 13.6-inch Soft Horsehair. They both work equally well -- this one is more "industrial" looking, but unlike the first, I have no qualms about putting it in the dishwasher, as it has a solid plastic handle vs the wooden one. The first one has softer bristles and therefore splashes less while using - which I prefer. The first one also looks nicer at the kitchen sink, than this one which some compare to a toilet brush.

On my way to order this brush, I spent a few minutes reading reviews of brushes for dish washing and became interested as it seems everyone had a complaint about their dish washing brush. It isn't stiff enough to remove all the food, it won't get into corners, the end gets all smashed down, the handle isn't long enough, well you get the idea. I wish I could put my review where they could read it. The answer of course is a good Urn brush, meant to clean coffee urns, etc. I would recommend the Espresso Supply Urn Brush, it has a 12-Inch handle, firm bristles that don't matt down, in fact it does exactly what I want a good dish brush to do. Quickly prepares all my kitchen ware for the dishwasher or the dish pan. Plates, pots, pans, perfect for glasses, even gets dried egg yolk from between the tines of forks. I really wish I could post it where all those good people looking for a great dish brush would see it.

Those things you buy at the grocery store that kind of resemble this? Yeah, those are not dish brushes. This is a dish brush. Take it from someone who insists upon spotless dishes and has never owned a dishwasher. For some things I still fall back to the green sponge but for 90% of cleaning this thing is just brilliant. The bristles are dense enough to hold soap for a while and strong enough to clean. The 360 degrees of brush make it great for cleaning glasses and bowls. I'm just bummed that Smart & Final stopped carrying them as I have to go online to get them now. I also wish they offered some of the other colors as the white bristles get dirty rather easily (though if you clean the brush right away you will be fine).I even got this as a stocking stuffer for all my extended family & friends one year.
