They material this is made with is much thinner than the one I removed. It also has a lot of air bubbles molded into it. If I could have found another brand that had the size I needed I would have sent it back.Since I had the old broken one removed I was desperate for something to cover the hole in the roof so I used it.I won’t purchase from this site again.

The only dislike was the difficulty to remove the clear plastic protective coating. I gave up on trying to remove it all.

Comes with sealer, but ordered with screws. Worked well. Only problem is I had an interior liner and cover did not match, but did manage to install with out too much of issue. Would buy again or with matching liner.

I'm giving it 5 stars for the build quality as new. It seems a little thin but I will follow up when I do my yearly inspection to see how it s held up to the elements.

Great, but just be very careful cleaning it because it will scuff in which case you'll need a fine buffer. I find it thick and strong enough but for those who complain maybe Mount two together. It does not reflect heat so I'm looking to melt some kind of reflective tint underneath it. You can use eternal bond to mount it but be careful if any of the sticky portion of the tape touches it will be impossible to remove without scratching. Maybe use the kind of microfiber cloth used for eyeglass cleaning.

It did not survive thermal expansion and contraction. Cracks formed at 3 different flange holes and radiated toward the dome then began to leak when the rainy season arrived. Installed in July 2020. Failure detected November 2020. Used butyl tape under the flange and was careful not to over-tighten the fasteners (not supplied).Disappointed.

Had to replace our sunlight in our trailer after a hail storm. This dome was easy to install and is true to size

We needed to replace the top part of an RV shower skylight dome. When we took out the skylight it was tricky as we did have to separate the inside dome from the outside dome. Once that was accomplished and cleaned up, we were able to drill the old holes through this new piece as the flange and holes were larger than the inside piece. We used double stick tape to approximate the two pieces before we drilled the holes. Applied the caulk, placed the skylight, screwed it down, covered the screw holes with caulk and it looks great. I can actually see outside in my shower now!
