So I got this for my 92 Trans Am GTA as the heater core was shot. Even though it did fit, it’s slightly smaller and I had to install some self adhesive foam to completely seal the small gaps.

Perfect replacement for 1985 Iroc Z Camaro heater core. Not an easy job but it fixed the leak.

Had to adjust the lines a little bit but this like trying to line up 2 pretzel twists all blindly inserting at an angle with a twist and a jiggle to get it in. Vera looks good and it’s working. So at the end of the day, it’s a success!

Exact match for my 1988 trans am… you won’t need to bend the tubes or modify anything.Now my car blows hot air when I want it to. I wasn’t expecting an aluminum heater core to work as well as this one is.Be sure to examine your flaps/doors that control temperature and airflow while you’re in there.

If you have a third generation Camaro with a V shaped bracket that holds heater core to the mounting bracket then this is the right one. The V bracket fits in the V notch perfectly and the strap at the bottom fits the same as the original part. The hose tubes even lined up with no hassle.
