We bought this to replace the heater core in our 1993 Ford Ranger. It was somewhat easy to install...my husband is good at things like this. Fits perfect and arrived earlier than expected.

Cheap heater core for my 1993 Ranger. Went in an about 15 minutes, did not leak. No idea how warm it ia because it is 110 in AZ! But it fixed the A/C Stink from the coolant leak in the old one.

Quick and easy. Good quality and great fit. Took some of the sticky insulation from the original core (190,000+ miles) and installed it. Heat works great and no more steamed up windows or sweet smell of anti-freeze in the truck.

This was for a Ford Ranger. The tank develop a leak after about three months on the vehicle. Amazon says the one year warranty is through the manufacturer, Spectra Premium.. I called the Spectra Premium for warranty and was told that since the part was purchased from Amazon that Amazon was "the customer" and any warranty coverage would be through Amazon. I then sent an e-mail to Amazon detailing this. To date I have not received a reply from Amazon. So it looks as though I'm out my money and have a heater core with a manufacturing defect and no warranty. I'd like to get this part replaced under warranty but neither Amazon nor Spectra premium want to support this product. If this is indeed the case I recommend not purchasing a Spectra Premium product from Amazon.Update 3-20-2018: Neither Spectra nor Amazon stepped up with warranty coverage.
