Fits like OEM but there is no hole for the vacuum like to the HVAC box. I would advise you do this before installing into your car and comparing the old core to make you do or do not need a hole for the vacuum hose.

Installed and no problems of of this post. Some of the after market Heater Cores use special connectors you have to buy. Not this one, just hook your hoses right up like the one from the manufacturer.

My mother's VW Jetta broke the plastic hose at the firewall, so the heater core needed to be replaced to resolve the problem. The job itself it a major pain, the entire dashboard must be removed to access the heater core. The dash isn't any harder than other dashboards that I've removed, but it is a time consuming task to do right. This part fit in exactly where the original went, and looks to be as well made as the original. I hope I never have to replace that heater core again.

Product shipped fast and was packaged nicely with Prime.Besides the 12 hours it took me for the replacement (first time replacing a heater core). It was an awesome alternative to the shop that wanted $200 for just the heater core itself! Only thing I needed to do to make the product fit was to remove the plastic bottom off the core. Heat works great now with no leaks.

This was a NIGHTMARE to replace! The seller had a great price and the heater core works great! The removal and installation is VW's poor design and not the seller's fault. Once we had it back in (almost 12 hours of labor) it worked great!
