Was a bit leery to purchase with some of the reviews showing striping and breaking. I had no problems with the installation and seem to be holding up. I used the ARP torque sequence. I also uploaded an extensive video on you tube.

Can't afford ARP. So I did some research and found these are as strong. Never had any issues. Used ARP stud torque specs and lube.

I picked up a set of these for my LS1 that was going in a race car. I've seen the posts on some of the forums about these being weak and not able to handle the load but I was willing to give them a try. They torqued up just fine and have ran for 2 years of racing now with out a problem, At the end of 2020 the engine let go it had nothing to do with the head studs so I reused them on the new engine, and again the heads mounted up just fine. I would not have a problem in buying them again.

All studs were installed per instructions ( which did not come with product) . Had to research online for those. Everything went well until the 2nd to last of the smallest studs. It , for some reason , stripped the threads from the stud before reaching 20 lbs of torque. Seems that there wasn't enough length on the stud for the nut to grab enough threads .Contacted the seller and requested a replacement for the single small stud. Was informed that i would have to completely disassemble my engine and send the entire set back for replacement. That is not an option as the rest of the studs were fine and torqued to specs without incident. So i replaced the defective stud with one from my local machine shop.My advise , order two sets just in case . Or just buy the ARP studs and have no worrys. Will update after engine is ran for a while as to the studs retaining torque under hot/cold cycles.

Did not fit. Threads on the block side of the stud are incorrect pitch. They'll start but they feel tight within 3 turns. After comparing them to both an ARP tool and the factory head bolt I can tell these studs are incorrect. Tried to install in a 2002 LS motor.
