Our 72 inch design will fit your fly rod when it is broken down in one section. Simply leave your rod rigged, disconnect one section of your pole, then slip our included rod sleeve over to securely and neatly store your rigged pole. I am happy with the spin rod locker. I have it mounted underneath my truck rack(Yakima Overhaul HD), so the locker is technically upside down and opens right in front of my face when standing at the back of the tailgate. I appreciate the flexibility here: I could really mount it anywhere with the carriage bolts that are included. Construction seems solid, and I have no leaks to report. Wind noise is also not noticeable.For the price point, this is, I think, the best bang for your buck. Other similar items are 3x the price, and most are for fly fishing rods. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
