The shaft is hollow which it didn't show in the pictures. I don't think that's too big of a deal. But I bought new u-joints to go with the shaft and it wouldn't fit in the the splined portion of the u-joint. But the u-joints fit on all the other splined components just fine. I had to file each spline until the shaft finally fit into the joint. That took about an hour to do.
