I like spot Hogg because it is a robust sight for hunting. Downside is the picture was showing a rod and I received a bracket for the sight mounted.Perhaps I have to admit this is a quality bracket and easy to use. Delivery took longer than expected.

Ive only used it a few times but let me tell you.. I wish I bought this way sooner... It is a great investment for someone that hunts a lot! It was pretty easy to install... this is the second one my husband has installed. We are avid hunters and this has upped my hunting game! I'm excited to get it out next season!

Get a light for it. You will need a light in situations you didn't with your last sight.

This sight is amazing. I have always been nervous about having a single pin sight because if I'm in a tree stand and I see a deer at 30 yards but it moves out to 45 yards I have to move and be seen or guess the hold over, and I'm more about precision. With this sight I have a 25 and a 38 yard pin while in a tree stand, and in fields I can shoot well past my comfort zone.

I love this sight, the pins being in the center and vertical, is a huge optical advantage, the field of view is a huge difference from the horizontal pins. And also once you have it sighted in at 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 yards, a simple turn of the dial, and you can choose any distance in between. This is the best sight I have ever used!!! Thank you Spot Hogg!!

I've been on the fence about an adjustable sight for several years, but finally made the switch this year. I've missed two bucks in the past because I got too excited and used the wrong pin on my old Spott Hogg 5-pin sight. I haven't used the sight hunting yet, but practicing with it I've really come to like it! I'm shooting the best groups I've ever shot out to 80 yds.! The sight is easy to dial to the yardage you want and I really like the 2nd pin being about 15yds. farther out than the top pin. It makes it easy to shoot any range in between with the vertical pin holder. The sight was fairly easy to setup, although I wish it came with a little more detailed instructions. You kinda have to figure it out as you go. I was also concerned because the horizontal adjustment seemed to be kinda sloppy when the lever was released, but once I had set it I haven't moved it so it's probably not a big deal. I'm hoping this sight holds up as well as my old Spott Hogg, we'll see, it's got more moving parts and looks to be a little more fragile.

Teerible. I spend 200 bucks on a sight and the stupid thing rattles like you wouldnt belive. Found out its coming from inside the fibre optic wrap and nothing you can do but get a new sight or send it in, which takes a few weeks. Do not buy this garbage.

Cons: Plastic Gear and visible gearPros: Lightweight, even though the gears are visible the concept was to reduce the weight and that was achieved. Everyone that's worried about dirt getting in and whatever else, I just want to know, are you dragging your bow through the dirt? The rest of the sight is aluminum and built to last. Added with Spot Hogg's excellent customer service, why even think about it, just get the sight.

I used to think that Spot Hogg sights were probably good but really expensive. They are a little on the high side but if you skimp on a sight then your 800+ bow is useless. Much like a 800+ rifle with a $150 scope on it, works but not the way it could. I tried a tru-glow range rover sight and it was a piece of junk. It wouldn't adjust or stay sighted even at 20 yards. I purchased this Spot Hogg sight and it is dead on at 60 yards. Sight it in at 20 and 60 yards then dial in whatever yardage you want. It will hit every single time, of course dependent on your ability. Isn't that what you bought the expensive bow for, to have the ability to shoot far beyond your ability? Do yourself a favor and try any Spot Hogg product for quality and a product that just works!
