Overall I would give this Bus bars/Terminal strip a 5 star review if it wasn't for the poorly designed protective cover.The description for this product is also a bit confusing as they state that the bus bar is "galvanized copper". As far as I'm aware galvanized copper is not a thing, it's not a standard process. This actually appears to be nickel plated copper, the plating and machining appear to be of decent quality for the price..The primary issue that I have with this bus bar is the poorly designed protective cover, the standoffs which support the cover above the base are very flimsy which means they flex. The flexing of the little standoffs that support the cover makes it nearly impossible to tighten the plastic nuts down sufficiently to secure the cover. If you attempt to tighten the nut down sufficiently the standoffs will spread apart and slide down the side of the Bus bar until they contact the mounting surface or until the plastic Castle nuts bottom out. This could have easily been corrected had they recessed the molding to Provide a secure socket to prevent the standoffs from slipping off the base.The only solution I found for this problem was to use backing nuts on the studs just underneath the cap to support the Protective cap, this allows the plastic nut to be sufficiently tightened to secure the cap. If you plan on using this bus bar without the protective cap then obviously this isn't an issue.This bus bar appears to be a good value for its intended purpose, With that said if you're purchasing this bus bar expecting Blue Sea quality and performance For an offshore extended range vessel then you're going to be disappointed, but then again these are about 1/10 the price.

These bus bars are great for power distribution. I like that they are normal red and black so that you are sure to make the right connections. They are weighted well and the anchor bolts are solid. I recommend this product.
