We just tested this base layer on a trip to South Lake Tahoe where temps were sub-freezing. The fit and comfort of the material is excellent. It is form fitting but not compression like or too tight. The base layer under my 4 1/2 year old's jeans and snow jacket was excellent and allowed him to walk around in very cold temps and still feel comfortable. I'm really pleased with this base layer and think they are worth the price if you are in cold temps often and need a quality product from a well-respected brand you see worn at the ski resorts.

These have just the right amount of give while remaining snug for warmth. The feel is very soft. My 8yo loves them so far, but he hasn't worn them out in the cold yet.
