Got these for my fiance's iridescent wedding tuxedo getup, and they were simply far too large; a bit too flashy/gaudy if you're going for a sleeker look. I thought they would be about half as wide as they are; I ordered something else entirely and will probably never use these.

These are incredibly shiny and stick out so much because of it. It could also be because they're a bit larger than most. But that's what I was going for.They look good and seem to be built well.I noticed that when they showed up one of them was bent nearly flush with the head of the cufflink, so I bent it back perpendicular and it held up. I was expecting it to break or at least crack, but it now looks like it was never bent in the first place.

I really hate saying this, but these were much cheaper looking than they looked like they would be. For one thing, the stone is much more red than pictured. Am I crazy, or does the stone look burgundy/purple in the advertising? It literally says "purple and silver" in the product description. In real life, it's garnet red. Which, like, yay, love garnets... but it doesn't really go with the bright silver setting, or with the purple shirt I bought it to match. The setting is also waayyyy chunkier and brighter than in the advertising photos, and the crystals are low-set away from the center stone, and not elegant as in the photos.Look, I know the description says, "BIG BOLD BLING: These men’s Cufflinks are LARGE and measure 1.0 by 1.0 inches, for a MAN!," and that I'm not a MAN, but honestly, it's not the size that bothers me. I am into chunky statement pieces, I love a wow factor. That's what I was going for, frankly. It's that the color isn't matching the advertising, and nowhere in the advertising does it show that the setting is such a strange shape from the side. In all of the photos, it's shown head-on, and it looks almost flush.Maybe this is the vibe for some people, and if you look at the pics I've provided and go "oh wow, that's exactly what I'm looking for," amazing! Glad I could provide pictures from the side, so you can make an informed choice! But they're not for me, and I'll unfortunately be returning. :( Super bummed, because I'd totally wear them if they looked like the pictures.

Big square chunky cuff links. Work like regular cuff links but are super sized. I like the contrast of the center stone against the rows of surrounding CZs. These are large, so if you were going for subtleness, these are not the cuffs for you. Definitely a conversation starter and a source for cuff envy.
