I ordered this hood/cap as I have on on my XF 18MM 1.4. The one I received DOES NOT FIT my XF 23 1.4. They replaced it and the next one does not fit either! Both have been returned now. Very frustrating.

This is the second such good I have purchased, for different lenses, and both are well made with good fit and finish. My only disappointment is that, at least on the 56mm f1.2, the hood will not mount on the lens with a filter attached. For some this is a minor problem, as the hood does a good job of protecting the front element. However, if you like to use polarizers, neutral densities, or other filters, this could be at least a moderate nuisance.

The best hood for my XF56mmf1.2 R! Way better than the huge one that came with the lens.

Nice looking but does not fit with Hoya UV filter mounted. Fits good without UV Filter. So you can have it mounted with no UV filter but not with UV filter Maybe some other filters would work?

Great lens hood, elegant and sturdy, perfect fit for the XF 56 1.2. The metal cap, unfortunately, is poorly designed. The cap is supposed to stay in place thanks to linen glued to the inside. Mine came with such linen unglued and wrinkled (see pictures). Cap would not fit or would require a lot of force (generating more wrinkles). I wish the made a version with a plastic cap, or a well designed metal cap (such as, for example, the one of the Fuji X100V). I decided to return the product.
