Ho acquistato questa catena originale SRAM per sostituire quella usurata del mio gruppo SRAM NX. Pur essendo pensata per i gruppi GX, ho scelto di montarla comunque sul mio perché, oltre alla qualità, mi piace molto l’aspetto estetico. Rispetto alla catena NX, infatti, ha le maglie interne nere, che le conferiscono un look decisamente più accattivante.La catena è arrivata dopo pochi giorni, ben confezionata nella sua scatola originale SRAM, contenente sia la catena che la falsamaglia. Prima del montaggio, ho dovuto accorciarla utilizzando uno smagliacatena, confrontandola con la precedente per ottenere la lunghezza corretta—un passaggio fondamentale per un funzionamento ottimale.Una volta montata con la nuova falsamaglia, ho notato che era molto unta a causa del lubrificante industriale utilizzato in fase di produzione. Per questo motivo, ho preferito lavarla con uno sgrassatore specifico per bici, poi l’ho sciacquata e asciugata accuratamente con un compressore, prima di lubrificarla nuovamente. Il risultato? Una catena perfettamente pulita e pronta per nuove avventure in MTB.Le sensazioni in sella sono ottime: la pedalata è più fluida e il cambio marcia risulta più veloce e morbido. Un prodotto eccellente, che acquisterò sicuramente di nuovo!

Ask me again in 2,000 miles. They're all about the same out of the box. The way I ride, a good chain is trashed after 2k. We'll see.

Great for the money. Got a cheaper gold chain first but broke twice. Replaced with this one and been fine since.Comes with a link.Good make ideal to match with a SRAM drive gear set.This Solid pin design possibly better for strength. Alternatively use or buy Hollow pin supposedly reduces weight. Your choice.

Tough to say if this chain is 2 to 3 times better than just a regular quality chain( because it costs that much more!) , but it has lasted close to twice as long as the “ average “ one and never showed any signs of rust either. Weight wasn’t a huge concern of mine but it’s probably a few grams lighter too. For those looking for one of the best , this could be it

This chain is the best bang for your buck. It’s higher quality than the NX chain, and while it’s a bit heavier, it functions just as well as the XO chain. Grams is what you really are paying for. 5 star!

In 2023 I moved up to an eMTB and my wife got an eBike. Both have 12 speed shram components. I converted all my bikes to wax lubrication for the chains. To save the running gear I am rotating 3 chains per bike to minimize wear on the transmission. Swap them out a 200 miles. So much cleaner, way quieter, and way better shifting. I found a video for DIY waxing. It included making a simple "liquid" wax version to minimize to times I need to hot waz them.

This products title says it has hollow pins. And one of the pictures show hollow pins.The GX chain does not have hollow pins.It is a good chain, but they need to change the title and the one pic.The XO1 chain does have hollow pins.

El producto llegó rápido, se anuncia sin costo de envío y finalmente si cobran algo, pero bueno valió la pena por el tiempo de entrega. Es un buen producto, la voy a instalar y espero que dure un buen tiempo sin cambiarla, ya que la que traigo es eagle NX y ésta es eagle GX (se supone que es mejor).

The SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed chain looks just like the 11-speed chain, but slightly narrower in thickness to fit the cog spacing of a 12-speed cassette. Compared to Shimano chains, I'm glad that SRAM uses a Powerlink connector for easy, tool-free installation (after you cut the chain to the correct size for your bike). The GX Eagle 12-speed chain runs pretty quiet, even when shifting up and down through the gears. Actual chain weight was comparable to my 11-speed chain. So far I've had no issues with this chain as part of the GX Eagle group set I installed.NOTE: I purchased the GX Eagle 12-speed rear derailleur, XG-1275 GX Eagle 12-speed cassette, GX Eagle 12-speed trigger shifter, and GX-Eagle 12-speed chain. The next portion of text will be repeated in my reviews for the other items as well)Coming from an 11-speed setup, and I can't tell you how big of an improvement/upgrade it was! For the price of entry (about $375 for the groupset, minus the cranks) the entire GX Eagle system works so well, it feels just like the X01 Eagle system but without the gold bling and more importantly - at a very affordable price point. Shifting is crisp and satisfying. Drive train noise is actually surprisingly quiet. Thanks to the wide range of gears (and the 50t cog!) I can tackle more climbs for longer time periods with less effort. I'm completely happy that I made this upgrade to GX Eagle, looks like SRAM has made 12-speed both reliable and wallet friendly. I wish I had this group set a long time ago!
