Beware..The quality is cheap. The helmet is made of cheap platice and the grill looks sub standard steel badly soldered together.Was a duplicate one

Inaccurate description and wrong pictures of grill and visor. The one in the picture for matrix model has adjustable visor, but what I received in the box doesn't have adjustable visor. Even the grill pattern is differnt.

I felt it was necessary to write a review after reading another. I play Cricket. This is made for cricket but then it can be used for whatever purpose correctly.I ordered this from a different vendor from India. Same problem. The grill is not the same as marketed. The one in the picture for this 'matrix' model is an adjustable Visor, but what they pack in the box is NOT and of different pattern. So clearly there is mismanagement somewhere. I purchased this particular helmet because I thought that the design of the wiring of the grill and to be able to adjust the fitting and alignment of it would give me a better view compared to all others. It is a well made helmet. Good shape. Not heavy. Medium size is a perfect fit for my 22inch head circumference. 23" Maxxx. Very easy to adjust the fit by turning the knob accordingly. Good foam padding inside. Padding around the edges makes it a sturdy fit and protection, would soak in and dry the sweat. Well placed air vent holes one each on all four sides. Good cloth material and well stitched. Adjustable strap with foam padding. The nuts are good enough to hold the grill on tightly. Nice narrow visor. Grill metal feels strong enough to take a blow. 4.5 Stars for the money. Near to 4 stars for what it is. 3 stars with the wrong grill. I could review this in very deep detail. I'm dissatisfied with SS for not providing what is advertised to the customers.

I purchased this helmet/head protective gear as I play adult softball and was told this helmet/mask combination would provide excellent protection as I am a pitcher. At first glance, that assessment wold be very valid. However, the description indicates that the mask is adjustable. 2 of the 4 areas would be adjustable, if the other 2 areas where the mask connects to the helmet were adjustable. Therefore, the mask is NOT adjustable at all, therefore is of no use to me. As it currently adversely impacts ones vision.Added pictures for reference.Would like to return the item for refund.
