This stage light has a surprising number of visual effects, and can be incredibly bright! I do like the ability to adjust the brightness and the sensitivity to sound. It does take a little work to completely understand the remote, but once you learn what does what, you have a good amount of control over the unit.I like the fact that it can run for over an hour and not get too hot to touch. I've had other effect lights that get uncomfortably hot within a minute or two. This is a welcome exception.It is easy to mount on a light stand or even just sitting on a table or on the floor. As others have said, it is very bright and there are a lot of effects for such a small stage light. This easily gets five stars.

I got this light set for karaoke night at home. It's very fun to see the different lighting effects that these lights can produce. Adds a great touch to the room.

There are a lot of cool effects with this! I love them all except the strobe light, but I don't like strobe lights in general. I'm not sure how to describe in words all the effects because the best way to judge this is to visually see it for yourself. I can say that for the money, I highly recommend it. This is currently, $50.39 with a $15 coupon. So, for roughly $35 you can put on QUITE the light show, a really great value.There is a DMX button on the remote, but this does not have DMX ports. My favorite feature is the music, or sound, activation feature as the lights will change according to what's being played.5 out of 5 stars.

This light was purchased for a disco dance party in a large (approximately 1500 square feet) school library. This is a legit party light: it was bright, colorful, had wide coverage, and definitely created a "very high disco light scene atmosphere", especially considering the fact it was daytime and the room could not be made entirely dark. I believe it did all of the things it is advertised to do, but being that the "instructions" for the remote are completely unintelligible and do not explain how to switch between all of the awesome functions, I have to give it 2.5 stars. Great party light if you're not picky about your party patterns!

Remember the days of painstakingly hanging individual coloured lights to achieve even a semblance of a "disco" vibe? Well, those days are GONE thanks to this amazing Stage Lights DJ Light. Let me tell you, this little beast packs a punch! I recently threw a surprise party for my best friend, who's a total disco fanatic, and this light was the star of the show.From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed. The compact size belies the incredible variety of effects it can produce. Seriously, this thing does it ALL: beam effects, red and green patterns, strobe lights, even a mesmerizing horse racing effect (which is surprisingly cool when paired with a disco ball!). Setting it up was a breeze – just plug it in and go.What I really loved was the flexibility it offered. We could switch between the eight self-propelled modes, or let the light react to the music with the sound-activated setting. My friend, a self-proclaimed "lighting guru," was blown away by how responsive the lights were to the music. It truly transformed our living room into a mini disco, complete with swirling beams and pulsing colours.The remote control is a nice touch, allowing you to tweak the settings without interrupting the party. Honestly, the only downside is that I might have gone a little overboard with the strobe light – I swear I saw a few people blinking in sync with the beat!
