I’m pretty handy so I decided to build/make a minimalist toothbrush holder for my kids’ small bathroom. These dowels worked great! My kids think it’s neat so now the counter is free of messy toothpaste and brushes and it’s more hygienic too. The dowels were the perfect size I needed. They match the faucets, are easy to clean, and rust-proof thus far. It’s a win-win!

Not a good replacement if your cabinet holes use imperial measurement not metric. I had 1/4" holes and these were just too loose. Hole size 6.35mm.
