Such an improvement over my last skimmer! Yes, it is a little big, but that's ok. It allows me to scoop ravioli, or whatever I'm cooking out of a pot a lot faster, and it works in all of my pans except the little tiny ones. The handle stays cool, it is sturdy, I don't lose things over the edge, and the water drains back into the pan. What more could a person ask for? I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was looking for a tool to get beef or pork out of the crock pot in one piece. The meat is so tender it falls apart using any normal means. This skimmer spoon is large enough to take the roast out in one go and is solid enough to support that weight. I am very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone faced with the same problem.

I bought this to scoop popcorn out of the pressure cooker and it works so well. The holes are the same size as unpopped kernels so they fall through and I don't break a tooth. I also use it to scoop out hard boiled eggs from the boiling water to place in ice water. Will work great for boiled potatoes and other steamed veggies. It is seamless, sturdy, and well made. No regrets.

I'm surprised how much I like this. Beautiful, VERY large, feels great. Perfect to drain pasta or vegetables... No need to lift a boiling pot of water and hope you don't burn yourself or splash on the way to the sink. The spoon is large enough to remove a large quantity of food. Very easy to clean, holes are perfect size. I guess I don't need colanders any more...

Absolutely love this slotted spoon!! Very large and easy to handle. I’ve use this for so many things. It makes scooping homemade raviolis a breeze. Straining many pastas are easy with this. Scooping up blanched veggies for freezing is so quick and simple. Skimming the top off of tomatoes or any veggie for canning is quick and easy. Scooping up deep fried anything helps reduce the amount of oil retained in the food. Drains everything so nicely. One of the best utensils I’ve ever bought and worth every penny. Everything I was looking for and more.
