I have a very strong dog who regularly damaged a standard dog leash clasp when out in the yard. Tried a few other replacements and they were bent out of shape rather quickly but this one is holding up well. Very easy to operate, well made and strong.

They're not stainless.They're magnetic and they stank like cheap metal absolute waste of money

These open, close and swivel really well. Buying more. I have used them to hold horse's hay bags. The swivel prevents them from twisting when horses spin them. I have been using them for about 4 months and they remain strong and seemingly impervious to use and abuse. (FYI also bought some SS carabiners from elsewhere but those are super tough to open the clasp on to remove and even to attach.)
