This stair edge protector has an excellent rubbery texture that should provide significant anti-slip protection for our deck stairs. I hope that the adhesive tape is as durable as the stair protector feels and looks. We are replacing a product that I installed on our stairs last spring, which is already coming up and is much thinner than this product.

I ordered this without thinking about the fact there might be a difference between squared steps and bullnose - but this strip works with either. It's very flexible and easy to cut. The adhesive held it in place OK, but I like to be double sure so I used construction adhesive as well. The gray is a nice color and there are anti-skid grooves that really help grip the bottom of your shoes. I did not realize this would come in one roll, so it does help to cut pieces to size, then lay them out, but overall this is very easy to work with.

The stair treads that I ordered should be the glossy black color as it appears in the web page photo. Wrong! The stair treads I received are a very flat gray/black as seen on used car tires. Since the stair treads do have good tread on them, I only lowered this review to three stars, but I am very disappointed (see attached photo).

This black vinyl stair trim works really well. It was easy to cut to size and the adhesive sticks well. Looks great!
