I got this to make pretty roses in cookies since had never heard of moon cakes. I looked it up on you tube and there are lots of videos with recipes to get you started. ( I am a visual person) the mold seems a little small but it seems to the size others are using. It is very detailed, with that being said it is a little hard to clean but it could be what you are molding, and in my case not moon cakes, Made in China.
