This is my first stand mixer. It comes with the attachments and a very useful manual with instructions. I love the red color. It's really simple to operate and to remove the pieces. The cover clicks on into place and sometimes moves but it's not too much of a hassle. It comes with 2 bowls, one of them fits and the other one doesn't fit. I took a star off for that because I can only use the other bowl for other things since it doesn't click into place on the stand. It's too big. Other than that, I've used it to make bread and cakes so far and it makes the entire process a lot easier. The mixers help a lot with gluten free baking.

This stand mixer is a fantastic combination of style, functionality, and convenience. I love that it comes with two different-sized bowls, making it versatile for various mixing needs. It also includes three beater attachments (a whisk, a paddle, and a dough hook), providing flexibility for baking and cooking. The dough hook seems to be designed for the smaller bowl. One standout feature is the main paddle, which has sturdy silicone scrapers on each side, ensuring the bowl gets thoroughly mixed without the need for constant manual scraping. The splash guard is another great addition, keeping mixing messes under control by preventing splatters.Despite its power, the mixer runs quietly, making it a pleasure to use. The red color with a chrome finish is absolutely gorgeous, adding a sleek and stylish look to any kitchen. Plus, all the attachments fit inside each other, making storage neat and efficient.Overall, this stand mixer delivers powerful performance with a well-thought-out design, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a stylish and functional kitchen appliance!

I am cheating on my kitchen aid with this mixer. I love my kitchen aid, I've had it for 20 years and it's still going strong. BUT, it takes up so much room on my counter and it weighs a ton. I ordered this one in hopes it could do the same jobs and take up less space. I would say it is a very nice compromise! The housing is plastic and the bowls are a lighter weight metal, but it still has metal gears. I could easily store this under a cabinet if I wished and pull it out as needed because it's so lightweight.I mixed up a 3 lb meatloaf in this, and it handled it like a champ. Then I made mashed potatoes with 5 lbs of potatoes, a full brick of cream cheese, stick of butter, and a tub of sour cream. The large bowl was full to the top, the whisk attachment creamed the potatoes like a champ with no issues at all and the splatter lid kept it all in the bowl.I love the splatter cover! it fits on the mixer rather than the bowl so that when you lift the mixer head the cover goes up with it, eliminating the need to find somewhere to place the dirty lid while you check your food. As a bonus, it kept the potatoes so hot while I was mixing them that the metal shaft on the whisk was almost too hot to touch! My potatoes were still red hot after mixing! The push button release/lock is a bit klunky, but it does keep the head securely up when locked in place. The mixer was very quiet until the end of the mashed potatoes mixing at which point it became a little louder with more of a whiny tone. I think there's a chance that if you were mixing something for a very long time the overheat protection could kick in and shut it down for a cooling off period. The pulse is another feature I'm loving. On my kitchen aid I have to pull the lever back and forth from off to speed 1 to pulse while holding onto the mixer with the other hand. The extra bowl is going to come in super handy. I can mix a cake in one bowl and then do frosting in the other, no need to wash a bowl to re-use it. The main paddle has sturdy silicone scrapers on each side to scrape the bowl while mixing, on a kitchen aid that's a separate paddle that has to be purchased. As for the space? That's my favorite thing about this mixer. Everything stores neatly in the larger bowl and the mixer has a low profile, sliding neatly under my upper cabinets and taking up much less space. Do I think this will last as long as my beloved kitchen aid? Absolutely not. But for $139.99, it's 1/3 the price of a comparable kitchen aid, seems to do the same work, and will last long enough to more than get your money's worth out of it. (kitchen aid is in the attic, I can't let go, lol!)

I got this GEFT stand mixer in the red color and it is a beautiful appliance that looks amazing in my kitchen. It's a gorgeous shiny apple red, with chrome accents and I just can't say enough about how pretty it is.It exceeds my expectations in that regard. One thing to note when I am reviewing the performance, I am an avid baker/home cook, and I own both the Kitchenaid Pro600 series and the Bosch universal machine, so I have high standards for a stand mixer. The GEFT comes with 2 bowls, a 6qt and a 3.5qt. It also has three different beater attachments- whisk, paddle, and dough hook. I have been having fun trying this out and seeing what it can do. It does well making cookies. The paddle attachment has a ruffle on the outer edge that scrapes as it mixes, but the cookie dough gets higher up the bowl than the paddle reaches, so you do still need to scrape the sides occasionally. The whisk attachment works great for batter and it whipped some cream quite quickly, almost as fast as my higher end mixers. The dough hook is cute. It can mix a soft dough, but it really isn't a bread mixer. It can do a small loaf at a time, but not like the more expensive mixers. The GEFT is easy to use and figure out. There is a button to push to get it to tilt up or down, and that can be a little tough to press, but it feels strong and sturdy and I really like it. The pouring shield has a very small opening but is good for mixing liquid ingredients in. It's tougher to try to add flour or such.I love that the bowls, pouring shield, and all the attachments can fit inside each other so this can be stored all together. It looks clean and neat.Overall, this is a great mixer for the asking price. It does as well or almost as well as the big brands for items like cream, batters, and soft dough. Although it's not a heavy duty bread mixer, it can do just about anything else the other mixers can, and it's prettier. The bowl is a nice normal shape as well, making it easy to use for other things.I am rating this a solid 4.5 stars and would definitely recommend.
