If you have a 80's Dodge vehicle that has one of these buy yourself two and keep one handy in the glove box. They often go bad and can leave you stranded. My dodge would run intermittently cut out once it got warmed up and then wouldn't start for the rest of the day. There is no way to test these you just have to replace it and see what happens. hope this helps.

Purrfecto failed 3 months after installationAfter replacing all the expensive hard to get to parts with engine not starting I put this on and wahoooooo. Perfect fit, fire and price until now. It is now a piece of metal that doesn't work

I purchased this as a cheap backup for the primary ECU in case the primary one fails somewhere far from a store/home. I tested it & it works, but it isn't the smoothest in firing and is definitely NOT a performance-oriented box. However, for the cheap price & peace of mind for a backup unit, it is fine. I wouldn't, however, rely upon this cheap Chinese-made piece of electronics for my everyday driving.
