As soon as I got this part in the mail I put it on my jeep it only took 5 mins. At first it worked flawlessly and not even 2 days later just stopped working

When your vehicle won't even turn over and the battery and starter are good, this is probably the problem. This switch is also called a clutch position sensor. It prevents the vehicle from being started in gear and lunging forward possibly damaging or injuring somebody or some thing. A test plug is normally mounted near this switch that jumpers the terminals for testing only. If the vehicle starts after jumping the terminals then the switch is bad. Replace the switch if bad as this is a good safety device.
