Purchasing was fine but I already had to replace a battery the first time one failed. Luckily I saw my brake lights on because this one failed and unplugged it before it sat too long.

Quick, easy brake light switch replacement! Works as intended. Vehicle wouldn’t come out of park. Thought the shifter was bad, but when you press on the brake to put in gear, the brake light switch sends the signal for the shifter to release so you can take it out of park (safety feature). Took about 10 minutes to install, problem solved! Highly recommend this product!

I bought this for my 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST because my brake lights were staying on and I'd have to tag the brakes to get the switch to work. Installed this in about 5 minutes and the lights work good as new. Over all the product seems to be oem quality.
