Not very strong. The camo colours seem quite fragile with some big white scratches after only one use. Will do but wouldn't buy again, I'll look for a stronger option.

This was the cheapest 5x7 or 6x8 camo tarp I found that seemed (from user reviews) like it would last a few months.Grommets: there is a gromet at each corner, and one grommet in the middle of each edge, on my 5x7' tarp. The middle grommets on the long edges are NOT CENTERED. (They also aren't exactly opposite each other, but they were close enough for my purposes.) I simply staked out the longer side a few inches further out.I staked it over a pet crate in the yard as a feral cat feeding station in my SW Florida yard. I set a 4x4 on top to create a ridgline for angling the tarp so rain would flow off. It survived a day of Nov downpours followed by a night of very heavy winds just fine, a couple weeks after I set it up. I expect it to get torn to shreds in time, after months of UV exposure and wind strain, but for $11, the price is right. Flabbergasting how pricey tarps are now

This tarp is great to cover up items from prying eyes. Sure, it's weather resistant but for me having something to toss over things at a campsite or outdoors that makes them less noticable to would-be theives is the benefit. It blends in great with the background. The material is fairly light - OK for me but not as heavy as some of the other tarps I have. A little more reinforcement and material where he grommets go would be nice but not a worry for me.

I purchased one of these tarps more than 4 years ago (from a different retailer), and it is still going strong, and that is with daily use. (I use it to cover my bed every day to keep the cats from vomiting directly on my bedding.) It has held up extremely well (no claw marks or rips from cat claws), so when I needed another one, I bought this one, thinking it would be the same. They both have the EXACT same bar code, the EXACT same item number, and both were manufactured in Vietnam. The only thing that differs on the two packages is the lot number and the RN number, and, of course, the lot number and RN number should be different from the numbers on my other one. However, this new one seems to be AT LEAST 2 MIL thinner than my other one, which leads me to believe that Stansport has reduced their quality. Don't get me wrong, as this was not a very thick tarp even 4+ years ago, so you should not think of it as a heavy-duty tarp or even a medium-duty tarp. But for the new one to be even thinner than it used to be is a disappointment. (By the way, I could not find any MIL specification on either package.) Anyhow, this new tarp will also be used every day (to cover a chair while no one is in it), and I'm thinking my cats' claws will easily rip it when they get up on or down from the chair. That remains to be seen. The pattern of the tarp is great, but I especially like the solid tan color on the reverse side. As a matter of fact, that is the side that I make visible when using my tarps. There are rust-resistant grommets every 3 - 4 feet, but they don't seem to be equally laid out on opposite ends/sides. The four corners are double-reinforced.PLEASE TAKE NOTE IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING BUNGEE CORDS: The packaging states that you should not use elastic cords on this tarp because "severe injury may occur if cord detaches" - which makes me think the grommets will easily rip out if any stress is put on them...Just my assumption, as I have not used either of these two tarps in that way, nor do I intend to.I am giving it 4 stars because my other one has held up well. Time will tell about this new one.

El material, por si mismo no brinda una durabilidad en cuanto a la impermeabilidad si se monta, desmonta, dobla y guarda en repetidas ocasiones, sin embargo, cumple con lo esperado, toda vez que es una característica propia del material.

We live in south florida so it does get very hot! I bought this to cover the ground where the grass doesn't grow so that the dog doesn't track in mud. It lasted a good 6 month before it started to get tears. By month 8 it was so brittle it would tear from the dog just running on it. I will say that compared to some other ones we've used it did not shrink much. I also want to mention that the green coloring was easily washed off with "Simple Green" cleanser.

My husband and I used this as Extra Protection over our tent for a week-long camping trip. We did Camp dry and seam seal our tent but you never can be too careful when it comes to protecting everything in your tent from getting wet. We faced many terrible thunderstorms and this tarp never ripped or leaked through. The measurements are exact and it states and is very heavy duty. You also really cannot beat the price for the size that we bought. I managed to find a smaller and cheaper one at my local store for Under the Tent on the ground and it did not seem near as thick as the one we bought here off Amazon. So just remember you get what you pay for and this was a great deal but also a great tarp.
