I bought September 2022. I need to replace March 2025. I used every day. So over all this product was worth the money. It did bunch up a few times but I put it in the sun to flatten.

I've been through several different plastic chair mats over the past 8 years and this is the first one I've ever had that didn't crack within a few months of purchase. I've had this for well over 2years and it's good as new.

The mat is standard mat, what was wonderful was the shipping, it was in a huge flat box, didn't have to fight it, normally when they arrive the mat is rolled up in a tube.. we all know that battle! this was great

I moved my desk into another room and it now sits on carpet. The mat I had was not rated for carpet and I was having problems tripping over the edge and rolling my desk chair off the mat. I ordered this one and it is perfect. The edge is beveled and there are little "nipples" that go into the carpet (without damaging it) and now my chair rolls easily and I have not caught my shoe on the edge. Should have done this sooner.

I read the reviews and was worried about the mat holding the bend shapes from shipping - I pulled the mat out of the box and let it set in the sun on the driveway for 5 minutes and it was completely flat - I brought it into the house and the only issue that I have that other reviewers stated was the material, although thick enough to be considered quality product, is a little on the soft side and the chair rollers do make an impression - for me this is not an issue because I like the fact that the chair does not move from position - it doesn't take much to lift out and move the chair back to exit - the mat is protecting a tight pile medium length carpet - this would be perfect with little issue for office type carpet - harder surface w/ low to no pile - I gave 4 stars for sturdiness and 5 stars for value and would recommend

Well this mat came rolled up tightly in a tube in a long box. I took it out, oh, Mat is strong, Mat is thick...and Mat is so tightly rolled I could not unroll it by any natural means. Any household item I put on it, was mightly flung off by the power of Mat. Also it stinks.So, by now in a fury, in attempt to vanquish my foe, I dragged it out to the garage. It fought me the whole way. I grabbed my first weapon.... a SIXTY POUND sandbag. With a mighty effort, I conquered the edge of Mat. But all force of foot could still not make Mat be Flat. 10 lb weight plates were mightly flung off. I brought out my other allies....and with much effort, 25 and 45 lb plates, a weight chain, and two very large heavy smash balls...Mat was down. And still it struggles to be free of it's iron and chains. For the moment it's there, pinned to the floor and reeking up the garage, maybe snarling a bit. If I manage to vanquish it, it will likely make a fine floor mat, but I will not be at all suprised if come back to find plates tossed all over the garage, and mat sized hole in the whole as it makes it's escape.

This is a surprisingly good mat for the price point. It was, naturally, a bit difficult to get it to lie flat on my living room floor at first. But, with a couple of weights on the corners, it straightened itself out after a couple of days. It's probably the best quality chair mat I've ever purchased, as I've gone through too many of them over the years. It is a stiff vinyl, with nubs that prevent movement in my low-pile carpet. They aren't sharp at all, so if that's important to you, you'll be in good shape there. There's also a bit of a bevel to the edges, so that chairs won't "trip" going from carpet to the mat. Overall, I'm happy to give this one 5 stars and highly recommend it!
