I really like RAM style mount on this. It makes the possibilities of mounting practically endless. This connector is more of a latter or roof rack type of mount whereas I could also use my RAM mount suction cup to stick it to my windshield or other glass on my vehicle.To be honest, I'm not sure how I'm going to use the clamp end of this, but the pole mount, and RAM setup will definitely be used. I have a magnet that should be able to screw this into as well as the aforenoted suction cup mount, and I can also use this on an existing ram ball I have mounted in my boat.I won't be using this in motion, so this mount will be perfect for my needs. At least most of it is perfect for me anyway.

Very sturdy, using for both a starlink mini mount and projector mount. You can use it for a camera or anything that has a 3/4 screw mount, very versatile. My previous mount had bent upon tightening but this one doesn't budge or bend. Solidly built, highly recommend!

This star link mini mount can be used on many mounting applications. It is made and machined very well, I would have given 5, but will wait after field testing.
