Best vehicle mount I've found after testing a lot. Most of the vehicle mounts are plastic, this is solid aluminum. Most of the vehicle mounts are largish -- several about the same outer dimensions as the antenna itself. That is unnecessary and this one is built on a tight scale. Some of the worst vehicle mounts are rather tall. This one is low and aerodynamic. They all seem to use the same magnets. The individual magnets have about 20lbs pull on a car roof. So with 4, you are getting quite a bit of hold to keep it from blowing off at highway speeds. They magnets have some sort of softish rubber coating which won't scratch your paint IF you keep it clean! If you set this down on dirt, it will pick some up. If you then put it on your paint, it wills scratch. Same if your car is dirty where you stick it on.Short version: small, heavy duty, strong support, and strong hold. All at a price less than many mounts that are not as good.

The Starlink Mini Holder features 66MM Strong Suction (Magnetic).Overall a very sturdy and worthy mount with magnetic feet adhesion attachment. No instructions needed as it’s evident and self intuitive to assemble and install. The aluminum frame is rigid and firm. It attaches to the starlink mini mounting support with confidence and with affirmation.The magnetic mount has great adhesion as so long your substrate surface is steel. If you have a vehicle with a composite, fabric, aluminum build or other. This method may not be yours to claim.I have nothing but a positive experience with the mount bracket. It installs easily and perfomes extremely well. I was a bit apprehensive with this piece but, getting down the road at 70-75, it budges not one bit, but again with a steel car body.My only gripe and the loss for a star is the quality of the paint finish. On all four magnet mounts, when wrenching down the washer nuts, the paint finish cracked and is flaking/peeling. The paint at-least on the unit i received may not be as durable as it may seem. I will no doubt, continue to use this frame as it is aluminum.Overall, highly and functional and with a reliable and durable performance. Easy use, with. Easy set up and take down. Highly recommended. It’s priced very fair and very affordable. An absolute value.

Made out of cast aluminum and strong magnets, nothing plastic on it. I totally trust this go keep my Starlink on the roof. Also very low profile, just enough room below the Starlink to slide your finger in for the release tab.

I have used this mount on 4 road trips each about 4 hours long. Mount doesn’t move an inch driving around 80mph down the interstate. No complaints at all. I went with this mount since others seem to hold the dish possibly blocking the signal? I saw another review that said it’s cheaply made and paint chips, but I promise you aren’t breaking this unless you intentionally try using a lot of force. Paint didn’t chip for me when attaching those screws and nuts, but I’m sure if you go crazy and over tighten them it could happen.My only complaint is it will mark up the bottom of the dish a little switching back and forth between this mount and the kickstand. But not in a way that will damage the dish, just cosmetic.

This is a great design but it’s cheaply made. Will work well for most people.Installation/assembly is easy. The magnets are plenty powerful. It holds well on the roof and is hard to remove unless you tip it to one side. Magnets are coated and feel gentle on the paint.The construction with aluminum alloy feels very cheap—like you could easily snap it with your bare hands. It also cracked off the paint on all four legs when I tightened the lock-nuts to the magnets. Photo doesn’t show it well…but it is flaking off. I didn’t over-tighten them. So be careful when tightening and I’d recommend using blue Loctite.Overall, it it a beautiful, lightweight design though and will work well for most people. It has a low profile for driving. Should be plenty sturdy to withstand powerful winds.As you can see in my photos, it wasn’t possible to center it on my roof, because of ridges. Not a deal breaker but if you’re OCD like me… not ideal.I would LOVE to get one made out of billet aluminum. Or, something sturdier. Also, it would be nice if it had the ability to tilt forward. I think that would help with wind resistance—putting downward pressure on the dish. It may also help with reception. Maybe just some longer magnet screws in the back?I used a $30 coupon: $69-30 =$39.00. I wouldn’t pay more for it as is. But for $40 it’s a pretty good deal.I’d love to give it a higher rating but that paint cracking off is not good at all.
