This part lasted exactly a year. However, there is a known issue with these starters. The starter that has been designed to replace this is so expensive that it is more cost efficient to buy this starter at this price whenever it goes out. I am on #2 and happy.

Liked this replacement BETTER than the original in my Lawn Tractor - the original had PLASTIC pieces in it which broke - the replacement is solid METAL !!Needless to say that the replacement is a much better choice - and fast delivery, too. I am very happy with this part and therefore I can highly recommend.
