I waited 2 weeks to rate it to give my feet some time to adapt, and I'm pretty happy with these. I don't feel the edges of the composite toe, and the soles are pretty cushioned.

Liked weight on feet. Disliked that twist to tighten design broke after a single use. Cannot wear anymore because the shoe will not tighten to feet

I ordered these because they were supposed to be lightweight but they weigh almost as much as a pair of steel toe boots I have. These weigh 1lb, 6oz each which is only 3oz less than each boot. The lacing mechanism is kind of cool but it tends to tighten at the top mostly and leaves the bottom laces looser than at the top and the wire laces are impossible for me to snug up at the bottom using my hands so I have to wear them for awhile and then retighten them as the wire tension equalizes from top to bottom.They are comfortable and have a good arch support which I appreciate but the weight is the main issue I have with them. The soles are way oversized for the size of the shoe itself and protrude out about 1/2" on all sides. The oversized soles are what add most of the weight to the shoe and make my size 11 feet look more like size 13 triple wide shoes (I would have called them clod-hoppers back when I was a kid). They are just much to heavy to be called lightweight and didn't have the oversized soles.
