Very small but great sound. Easy to carry around. Feels well made and durable. Great for kids or any one who wants to play. Tones seem good but not perfect. Still fun to play with. Carrying case and drumsticks are included.

I got this as a gift for my kid. It sounds very pleasing and he occasionally pulls it out and enjoys playing around with it. He's even pulled out the music that came with it and played a few tunes without any prompting, so I do like the novelty that encourages musicality. There was a lot that came with the kit including a music book, case, and mallets. The drum seems made well enough and has a very pleasing sound. It's easy for a beginner to make music and be creative since everything sounds pretty and soothing. I'm not sure this will be a long-term instrument versus a novelty toy. Time will tell. But you do get everything you need to get started in a compact form.

Gifted this to my nieces & they are loving it! Great fun for adults and a fun way to interact and bond with your little ones through music. Whether you’re following the songs in the book or creating your own tune. It’s a great tool to use to help calm and focus and useful for hand eye coordination.

I was so impressed with the Magic Calm Drum kit! We got it as a birthday gift for my 4-year-old, who absolutely loves musical instruments. The sound of this drum is so calming, and it was the sweetest thing watching him explain to his dad how to use it! We didn’t realize it came with a story, but reading it together naturally led to a really good conversation about those times when he gets frustrated and what helps him calm down. Highly recommend this for any parent looking for creative ways to help their kids manage big emotions!

This is a decent quality Steel Drum, perfectly sized for a Kid (and maybe about 20 minutes of fun for an Adult as well). The steel drum comes with a very nice carrying case, two mallets with rubber ball ends, an instruction booklet, and a easy-to-play song book with many childhood popular songs.It's ready to play right out of the box. The steel drum is a painted a nice color blue and has numbers which correspond to the notes in the song book, that are clearly painted in white. For almost all the notes, the tone is pretty good. However, there is one note that no matter where you tap the rubber mallet, it's slightly "dead" or out of tune. It's a fun little percussion instrument that will surely provide hours of entertainment. It is reasonably priced compared to what real steel drums sell for and probably better suited for a kid more interested in playing music. It appears to be made with good quality materials and I would recommend this product.
