Purchased this controller as an additional xBox controller. It works as advertised. I also connected to Amazon for use with their Luna games, and it has worked well. The controllers have onboard rechargeable batteries, so there is no need to hunt for AA batteries. The remotes charge fully in about 2 hours, and so far last longer than they are used each day so overnight charging keeps them active each day. The buttons map to expected functions, and there is not apparent lag while in use. The controllers can be direct connected via wifi or bluetooth, and come with bluetooth dongles if required for your set up. Overall a great purchase for the price.

Bought it over a month ago for my daughter to play Fortnite with her sisters and it works perfectly and is still holding a charge. My kids are rough with their controllers but it’s proven to be durable. Instructions were clear and set up was easy. Really happy with my purchase.

Ottimo gamepad. Non troppo pesante, quindi non stanca anche durante lunghe sessioni di gioco. Ottima la durata della batterie. È possibile continuare ad usare il GamePad anche mentre è in ricarica! Perfetto.

...poorly made analog sticks.*this review was done after almost a year of gaming during the pandemic, up until about two months ago*This is the second Stratus Duo that I've had in a few months. The first one I bought started having a drifting problem with the left analog stick and a squeaky right analog stick, which made most FPS unplayable.Customer support was very prompt and helpful, refunded my purchase and offered to send a new one, even though I'd already ordered a new one ahead of time, which basically was the same as getting one sent for free. The second controller was a whole lot better. This one lasted me about a year of playing games until two months ago, when the right analog stick "L3" and "R3" clicky buttons stopped registering. These particular buttons are usually default key mapped to something vital like sprinting. Short of remapping a new button, this made most of the games I play, unplayable.I'm know I'm well out of the return window, and have thoroughly enjoyed using the Stratus Duo for the time that it's been usable, but for now I've gone back to using a wired controller on my PC.Now, the Pros:- The build quality is excellent (except for the analog sticks). This controller definitely has some heft to it. Not as heavy as a Xbox controller, but also not as light as a PS3/4 controller. It's super comfortable in your hands for several hours at a time. I have smaller hands, and 4-6 hours of button mashing produced not a single hand cramp, unless I was spamming a trigger bumper spraying and praying. Yes, I know, kb/mouse have the advantage over controllers in shooter games, but that's not the point of this review now, is it? Material for the hand grips is soft and textured, and icky hand sweat doesn't occur.- Connecting this controller is super easy, on both Windows PC via USB adapter, and my Nvidia Shield TV via Bluetooth. I just plugged the little USB adapter in, and *poof*, like magic, instantly connected. On rare occasions would I have to press the "connect" button on the controller for Windows 10 to recognize the controller and connect.- Charging takes no time at all with a fast charging brick.- Customer Support (through Amazon) is awesome, super helpful, and for the most part, fairly quick with their replies. I can't complain. :)Unfortunately, the Cons:- Analog L3/R3 clicky buttons started drifting, squeaking out of the box, or just stopped working. Short of remapping, this made my gaming sessions terrible. Maybe I'm an aggressive button masher, maybe I just like sprinting all over a map, all the time, like a marathon running with no "off" switch. Or, maybe I just got a bad batch of controllers. Either way, two controllers in a row with faulty analog sticks just kind of made me shelve this wonderful product and go back to an old wired controller.I would've given more stars because I really do like the Stratus Duo controller. Games that don't use the L3/R3 clicky buttons still work wonderfully, however, I don't like the idea of having separate controllers for different games. Is this the controller for you? If you want a dual connection controller that's super comfortable to hold, then this is a worthy competitor in the controller market. Would I recommend this? Definitely. Will I purchase another one in the future? Most positively possibly maybe yes. Maybe.-

Comfort great imo, easy to control, quality product with nice options. Just wish they could make a multi-compatible (with Windows/Mac//Android/iOS) because I have an AppleTV (my only Apple product other than my Mac VM) and have Steam Link on it so I can play any game from my PC to my TV and use the controller. So I just put the dongle (no BT in my PC) in my PC and it still works, an alternate route/cheat/trick, although I do loose some functionalities with Steam Link so just put the 2 PCB's stacked in the controller make it 1mm wider and sell a better product, maybe Steelseries greedy. So small complaint but other than that A+.

I purchased a Stratus Duo to replace a Steel Series Stratus XL that stopped working all of a sudden. 2 days with the Duo and the left stick stops working correctly. I contacted Steel Series customer support only to be told that if I had purchased the controller from outside of their official website, the warranty could not be honored. I spent a week waiting for a response from them and 30 seconds finalizing a return/ replace from Amazon. A quick search proved that Steel Series has a big issue within the manufacturing process of their controllers. Im definitely not the only one experiencing issues specifically with the sticks failing. I have no reason to think that the controller coming to replace this won't fail again. It's unfortunate because this is an amazing controller with awesome features that worked flawlessly for that first day but 2 controllers that both failed the same way after a ridiculously short period of time isn't worth the time or money.*UPDATE*The replacement controller came and within 2 days the right thumb stick failed. Avoid this and any steel series controller at all cost. This is the 3rd steel series controller I've had and on all 3, one of the thumb stick fails. I will never purchase a Steel Series product again.

Man I love this controller! My experience is one that pleases me greatly and I'm very happy with my purchase. It connected so easily through Bluetooth to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and my LG Aristo 3+ cell phone and an old Kyocera Hydro Wave even! It works through the 2.4Ghz dongle to all 3 of my pc's and the connection is just as flawless. I can notice no lag on any of the emulators I run on my tablet or PC and was pleasantly surprised by this. The battery life has been what seems to be better than the 20 hours its advertised as. Great build quality, perfect size and ergonomics for my average hands, and overall a super great purchase. I paid about $34 for it with free Prime shipping when EVERYWHERE else on the web had it listed at $59.99. I feel I got a great controller for a super deal and am all the way pleased. Hell it sounds like I work for these people or something lol (I do not for the record) but when I get a great product, especially at a great price, I'll go out of my way to leave great feedback that hopefully helps the next guy. I try to include info that other reviewers didn't or answer a question i had when looking to buy the product. If you're looking for an awesome controller at an unbeatable price look no further. It being a dual wireless controller was the icing on the cake for me. Good stuff good stuff I promise

The controller is a good fit with a slightly bigger grip than a PS4 controller. The buttons are very tactile which is extremely satisfying in my opinion. Everything works as described with easy connection on pc. Mat plastic chassis feels greats. It only really lacks the rumble feature when compared to modern controllers in the market. Which is not even a real drawback in my opinion. Overall very satisfied with its functions and price.
