Worked great on the drive belt idler on my old briggs mystery tiller. Hard to find a flat idler with a small bore but this was the one.

Had to make many of my own bushings from 5/16 washers, a drill, and a file, in order to not get them to rub on the bracket. Bearings are much smaller in diameter than originals from 1977 and no where close to being as heavy duty. Steel appears to be very similar. Not a one for one replacement but allowed more lateral adjustment than the originals as they are thinner in the middle. Allowed me to place the pulley closer to center line of the belts. These will not last 40 plus years for sure, but much cheaper.

Works great. Good fit. Make sure you know your model number because Ariens have different sizes even for the ST828. Measure your old wheels.
