Not sure if mine was new as people have complained getting used but there were circles on the bracket as if it were mounted to something.My P1778 code came back after about 10 days of driving.When I tested the old stepper motor it appeared as though it was functioning correctly. Since I still have the same codes appearing I can only assume that my particular transmission problem isn't due to the step motor.

First one came damaged and actually looked used so I returned it with no issues. Second one came and it also looked used, it had oil coming out of it and the bolt holes were marked up as if it was previously bolted down. I was in a pinch so I installed it anyway as it tested out ok,After 800km transmission quit shifting properly again and the same engine code came back..

worked as it should easy to install i had a code p1778 and with new fluid this took care of the problem i was having 18 months update it has worked great now for 18 months but as of today it has gave a p1778 code i reset and so far its doing ok will do more updates 10/23/24
