My Fender Stratocaster Vintera needed a new nut. So I decided to pay a little bit more and get this one. It's really worth it. I needed the nut with the flat bottom for my Strat neck. But I saw that they also offer a version with a rounded bottom. So check first what your Strat neck needs.Fitting the nut to the neck needs a bit of filing which was easy to do with some sand paper.The nut came pre slotted. So after fitting the nut to the neck it only took a few strokes with the right nut files and everything was perfect. Very happy with this purchase. I recommend these StewMac nuts.
