These are good rods, but just in case you don't know, they are the red 5P rods, not the gray 5P+ rods. The gray rods only come in 10 pound or greater cans. What's the difference, you ask? These are your textbook 6010 rods with the most aggressive, digging, penetrating arc. The gray 5P+ has a softer arc, more like a 6011, and are a little easier to run. But if you want to blast away crud, these red ones are the way to go.

This is the best rod for deep penetration and all position joints. Works best on DCRP. Wear respiratory protection if using it for any length of time or in a unventilated space.

This 6010 welding electro is best to down hand weld it’s a deep penetration quick freeze rod.

These electrodes are good for welding strong (heavy/thick) material. I used it with regular galvanized tubes and it destroyed my material. I am waiting for the E6010 Stick Electrodes Welding Rod 1/8 10... which I ordered April 6 and it's today May 9, 2016 and I haven't received them. I had to purchase some locally but, they are more expensive. I will give my review as soon as I get them, however, I did use these ones before and they leave a pretty good look and strong welded material.
