The exhaust on the weed whacker was plugged. I replaced this spark arrestor and the engine ran perfectly.

When you think you have worn out your machine because it just won't rev up any more, try replacing this screen and your machine may magically come back to life. Mine did. I think I am on number 5 or so of these. I tried many solvents to try and clean these screens but nothing seems to work very well on the exhaust build up.

Many people replace the spark arrestor. Because it's blocked with 2 stroke oil and carbon. I bought this product to replace the item that fell out of the muffler.Normally I just put the arrestor in front of a flame and it's clean.
