Bought it… installed as per instructions. 50# torque. Ran the boat for 2 hrs . The hydrofoil came off and was lost. The foot of motor has holes where it was attached. Can’t return it cause I don’t have it. Total waste of money

The marketing says this will fit 4-300hp, but it won't. Do not buy this expecting it to fit small outboards, it's simply too big. 40-300hp would be more realistic. I wasted my $, don't waste yours!

No way this could ever work on a 50 hp Mercury. Tighten it down to the point it made indents and tried pulling it off. Thought there was no way it was coming off. First time I tried coming up on plane it ripped right off. The set screw went under the lip and grooved it all the way back. Called the company number several times left messages and never received a call back. Poor product and customer service. Money literally at the bottom of the KY lake. 4/26/24 still no response or even a refund offered!!!

Specs stated good for 40HP and up. Too small for my outboard. May work better on smaller outboards.

DO NOT BUY! my first trip out on the river the thing feel off. I put my boat in drove about 1 mi stopped and checked it and noticed it was a little loose so I tightened everything up as tight as I could get it and went riding some more. I checked it again after another 20 minutes of riding and everything seemed okay. I drove back in to the boat launch and as I was putting the boat back on the trailer the thing was missing. Somewhere along the way the dang thing fell off.

Instructions was in Spanish. Pre drilled holes are in the wrong location unless your ok with drilling through the top decorative fins. Had to make my own holes. Proformance is at best so/so. Didn't notice much of a plaining difference and its slightly slower about 3 mph I feel this would improve if I DRILL MORE HOLES. Closing the gaps make it more water stream line. Not willing to do that

Worked great on my 2000 bayliner 175 . I gained 3 mph on top end and get on plane and can stay on plane at a lower speed. However when I had 7 people the added weight definitely makes it harder to steer when going fast with the hydrafoil
