These are so great! True to size, once my son ripped his skin off sliding on turf, we had to get these. So glad we did! He never plays without them. He is a defender and has to slide tackle a lot. Save your thighs and spend the money, not cheap but well made. On a side note, saves the undies too, he has shredded his boxer briefs along with his skin.
