Twist Lock Connection
Our twist lock connection makes it easy to assemble your chimney pipe and components. Simply place two sections together and twist until secure. Finish the connection with our included locking band for a water tight connection that won't come loose in wind or snow.
Ceramic Fiber Blanket Insulation
Sandwiched between our inner and outer wall is a 1.18" thick ceramic fiber blanket insulation. This compressed blanket of insulation ensures there will be no hot spots in your chimney caused by settling of the insulation like you get with loose filled insulated chimney pipe.
.019" Thick 304 Stainless Steel Inner and Outer Walls
Our inner and outer walls are made of 304 stainless steel that measures a minimum of .019" thick.

YEs this connector indeed fits a normal standard 6 inch pipe! I couldn't find the answer in the description. It will fit your normal 6 inch pipe BUT you MUST use this same companies double walled pipes to connect the rest of the pipes. That part was clear in the description but the previous mention was not. They could probably sell a heck of a lot more of these if they were more clear to us beginner's. Haha.Anyway. It arrived and I'm happy it fit. Now I wait for the rest to arrive because I was too nervous to order all parts without first confirming this part fit a normal 6 inch pipe.Lol so with that said everything is good so far. On thing I did note however was my piece was quite filthy. I couldn't handle it without getting black on my hands. I don't know if that's normal but it was so dirty that it was to the point I thought it was used. It wasn't. I dont think? Maybe it's just how its made. I have no idea. Like I said I'm new to this. It seems made with quality however and I'm not at all dissapointed.
